Jumping Jacks

Well over the weekend Keila had gone to Idaho. To Boise to be exact with Abbey Thompson and Mikey was working, so we decided to spend some time with Hunter & Makenna. We were going to spend the weekend in Mesquite Nevada but decided against that, but we should have gone, maybe another time. So we went to Jumping Jacks instead and had a ton of fun, had to drag the kids out of there. The kids had a lot of fun especially with the air hockey game.(you have got to watch Hunter when he scores in the videos below). Then we went out for ice cream. Fun timesWatch these

After La-Shana and Blake left, we headed off to Idaho for Spring Break and stayed at Matt and Debz house. Mata and Eden came with us which is always fun, it was very relaxing up there and we hit Lava Hot Springs which was awesome cause we all needed some relaxation.

Debz and I played speed which Deb got wasted in Speed and Knucklebones and owes me a nice foot rub so next time maori girl, i have to beat her in Speed cause thats the only way my feet get any loving.

but the fish he caught were to small so back in the water they went.
Also Eden and the all the little kids had a game of softball which Eden's team dominated (I wonder why), it was a blast to spend time with Deb and her whanau and look forward to the next trip up there.

Taeya wanted to challenge Uncle Mike in Knucklebones, they just made up their own rules as they went along. (She is just like her Mom)

Spring Break with the Francoms

We were fortunate to have Blake & La-Shana come home for the weekend, it was to short but we made the best of it. They also had Ryo, a team mate of Blakes. It was nice to have him in our home and hope that he felt the same way. In their circles he calls Blake & La-Shana Mom & Dad, long story but sweet. So on our last visit to Cali. he refered to us as Grandma & Grandpa. So during their stay they also announced that Ryo commited to be baptised, which is really good news. Just really glad that our kids along with their friends have been good examples, makes me think about what church leaders are always stressing, to always be a example cause you never know who my be watching you. Well we wish we could be there, but are unable at this time.

Then the Francom's had to return home, sad times.

Maybe it was just as well cause it started to snow. La-Shana doesn't like the snow. If you look closely you can actually see the snow coming down.

St George

Makenna has graduated the D.A.R.E program and really enjoyed it. The Officer told everybody how a bunch of kids sluffed school one day and went out cruising, ran a stop sign, caused an accident and had to hold one of the kids in his arms till the child died. The story brought tears to all that attended. He warned that people texting and not paying attention to the road has cause to many accidents

St Paddy's Day

Well as usual, we do the St Paddy's Day traditional dinner. Funny cause we actually look forward to it. The family sitting around the table, but this year we're missing La-Shana, we thought we would be over it by now but we haven't. Keila is on her way to Nebraska for a wrestling tournament and Mikey had to work. I'm trying my best to sit still after the wreck i had at the Dunes.

Sand Dunes

Went to the Sand Dunes Wednesday, Had a lot of fun till i ate it big time. After the accident i checked out my extremities and everything still functioned, had to say a little prayer and thank my Heavenly Father for letting me go home to my family. Still waiting for the aches and pains to subside......... oh and all the bruising

Insurance Hike

Mikey finally saved enough money to buy his own truck. He cleans it everyday and it already has his traps in the back. Now he wants to tint the windows

Our Trip to California

We had the opportunity to fly down to Salinas California to visit La-Shana and Blake, it was wonderful, we flew into Monterey and it was breathtaking flying over it, it reminded us of Utah, the beautiful Mountains and it was so clean.
We spent 4 days down there and we watched Blake play Basketball, went to the beach, went out to Texas RoadHouse and ate, ate and ate.
It was awesome spending time with them and it was sad to leave, they have such a cute apartment and they are both doing well.

we cant wait til they move back to Utah.
